Storytellers were asked to write and perform (before a live studio audience) an engaging 7-minute set regarding a personal anecdote relating to the theme of the episode, which was titled Weeds. The approach taken weaved themes of spirituality, deconstruction, redemption, self-discovery, and mourning with bits of humor sprinkled from beginning to end.
